History
- 1955 – Pierrefonds Chauffage was founded in 1955 by Mr Jean-Paul Dussault and Mr Gérard Raymond. In the beginning we were active in the installation of heating systems in the new homes being built in the West Island. We also provided oil delivery and after sale service to these new owners.
- 1970’s – In the 70s, we expanded to include sales and service of central air conditioners , as well as electric and gas furnaces.
- 1970’s – It was then that we started our association with Gaz Metro now in 2017 call Energir as a certified partner for oil to gas conversions.
- 1980’s – The 80s saw us introduce heat pumps and high efficiency gas furnaces. In this period , a few first hour employees left us for a happy retirement and of the younger people who replaced them, most are still with us today.
- 1990’s – In the 90s, the second generation took over. Mr Dussault retired, handing the business to his 3 children, Francine, Pierre and Réal. The Challenge was great , as most businesses fail this passage .
- Now, 26 years later, not only are we still present, we are resolutely committed to the future to offer you the best solutions for all your home comfort and energy efficiency needs.
